Customer's Fault Description
I knocked a glass of water over on the bedside table and some went on the remote. I dried it off with a tissue and tried to operate it. It just flashes every few seconds or so showing the maker's name velux but no functionality
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This window controller arrived safely and on adding batteries was confirmed just to constantly flash.
The control was opened and heat treated to remove any remnant of water contamination. Then the control was factory "reset".
When tested again the control started up as normal, this item will need to be set up with its receiver again due to the reset.
