Customer's Fault Description
Further to my telephone call with you this morning. Remote was left on top of fire and has become distorted and no longer works.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a melted back case, sadly these are not available as spares and therefore cannot be replaced.

On testing the remote would illuminate the red LED but no infra red signal was being emitted.  This was due to a faulty IR LED, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
