Dimplex RC01 - 008 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Inter it’s the since moving in here in Feb now on off not working most all the time. Fire works ok on buttons on the fire.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on testing was fond to have poor button response on 2 of the buttons.
When opened the conductive pads had started to decompose and leave residue on the PCB contacts (see image). The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and replacement conductive pads glued into place which restored full functionality.
