Customer's Fault Description
Not working at all. Control had been untouched for a while then discovered some leakage from battery. Since then, it has been lifeless. And the battery cover is missing.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a missing battery cover, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
On testing the control was found to be dead, this was due to a corroded battery terminal. The terminal was replaced which restored full functionality.
