Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Marantz remote arrived safely and on testing was found to rattle and also was transmitting without any button being pressed.
When opened a capacitor was found to have broken away from he PCB due to bad solder joints (see image). This was resoldered back into place and also replacement conductive pads were fitted on the volume buttons. Full functionality was restored.
