Customer's Fault Description
There is no ignition light in the remote control; the battery has been replaced in both the gas fire and the remote control and this has not made a difference.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the retaining clip was missing from the battery cover, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available and this doesn't effect functionality.
The battery cable was found to be faulty, this was replaced which then revealed the some of the buttons were also faulty, all four buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
