Customer's Fault Description
Detected temp on remote is way above what it should be (30-35 when it’s actually 14)and so the heating doesn’t come on when it should. Also, the remote sometimes gets stuck ( Buttons do nothing and you stay on one screen) trying to select override or turn heating on.

It’s also getting hard to get batteries to stay in as one of the contacts is rusting
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a temperature stuck at 35 Degrees.
A component test was carried out and unfortunately it was concluded that the issue was with the main IC which isn't available as a spare.
