Tried to re solder wires to battery connection, but still unresponsive - light does not come on. Perhaps buttons are faulty?
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fire remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a faulty battery cable and buttons.  The cable and all four buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
