Customer's Fault Description
One remote completely doesn't work. The lighter remote turns the TV on but does nothing else.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

These remotes arrived safely and on inspection on was missing its IR protective cover (this cannot be replaced)

On testing the first remote was confirmed to be dead, when opening the battery compartment the batteries were inserted incorrectly and were totally drained of power.  When fitting new batteries the remote sprang to life.

The second remote was found to be functioning as per normal.
