green & red buttons (up/down/stop) illuminate when pressed but 'flicker' & gate does not respond - batteries changed, no difference
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have a sluggish button response.

This was found to be due to very contaminated button contacts (see image).  The buttons and PCB were etched clean with restored full button response and the RF frequency was present on each button press.
