Customer's Fault Description
Heat button started working intermittently, then failed. On/Off and Effect buttons working normally
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have a non responsive heat button.

On opening this was found to be due to contamination over the PCB from a battery leak and also worn button contacts.

The pcb was cleared of all contaminants and replacement conductive pads glued onto each button which restored full functionality.
