Customer's Fault Description
None of the buttons work well and the foot support raiser button has stopped working completely. This button also is worn and not located properly (it pops out).
I previously tried to take the remote apart to attempt to fix it, but failed miserably. The grey rubber moulding is now separate and not located in position. I will enclose it.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection one of the buttons was partly ripped from the button array, the side sleeve was detached and the cable was damaged on the entry to the handset.
The cable was cut back and refitted to bypass the break. Replacement conductive pads were glued onto each button and the ripped button siliconed into place.
