Customer's Fault Description
Was working fine last year, but refused to work now. Not dropped or obviously damaged. Does not control fire up or down. New batteries were fitted in remote and in gas fire receiver, but still did not work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be functioning as per normal operation.
When tested with our bench receiver, it triggered the up and down channel.
It was therefore concluded that the issue is most likely with the receiver.
