Celebrity electric recliner chair Remote Repair Details

Model : electric recliner chair
Customers Fault Description : Remote operates a Celebrity DUAL MOTOR RISER RECLINER chair. Most importantly the recliner (right side) button operates spasmodically so a bit hit and miss. The riser/tilt (left side) button doesn't operate at all so this too needs attention. The reset (top and biggest) button seems to work ok.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a damaged cable and also worn button contacts.
The cable was replaced with a straight cable and replacement conductive pads were glued into place.
