The unit closes the fire down but does not open the fire valve

This receiver arrived safely and on inspection was found to have suffered a battery leak, due to this a repair cannot be carried out due to the potential for future random issues caused by a leak, this can include the fire turning on without any human intervention at any time.  We can only recommend replacing the receiver.
