Customer's Fault Description
Top left button when viewing from above with the buttons at the top of the remote does not work at all. This is required to ignite the gas fire in conjunction with the button below it. The other buttons work intermittently so if they can be improved it would be useful.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing its retaining clip. This cover cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
On testing the buttons were found to be sluggish in response. All four buttons were replaced which restored full functionality. The battery cable was also replaced as it had signs of a battery leak.
