Customer's Fault Description
Display screen not showing anything and the remote isn't working when held up to the Aircon unit.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
This was due to a faulty oscillator, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
This item was returned 14 Jun 2022 and was dead, it appeared to have suffered a battery leak and the terminals were corroded, replacement terminals were fitted which restored power, this was not under gtee but as it was a quick fix the customer was not charged and the item returned 15th Jun 2022
