Royal Cosy fires Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The remote control suddenly stopped working, only the standby button works on the remote, then fireplace will not come back on after trying all the buttons. I think there is a fault with the remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery terminal was badly damaged meaning no power was getting to the PCB (see image). A replacement terminal was fitted which restored full functionality to the remote (see testing video)
