This island extractor hood remote arrived safely and on inspection the case was apart and on testing the control was not transmitting on any button press.

This was due to breaks in the print around both IR LEDs.  The print was reworked and then reinforced using hot melt due to the lack of solderable print.

This restored full functionality.
