Customer's Fault Description
The green button has broke off and the the switch it actives will not press down. I have been managing to wiggle it with a screwdriver with some success but now seems to have given up completely. The little window which covers the led is missing as well. Though I’m not too bothered with that as long as it works.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead and part of the case was missing.
On opening hte buttons were faulty, these were replaced but the item remained dead, it was then found that the supplied battery was dead, this was replaced which restored a signal but the LED was not illuminating. The LED was then replaced which restored full functionality.
A plastic cover was glued into place over the hole. A Duracell battery will be supplied fitted on return.
