Customer's Fault Description
The gas fire will start on the remote. Then I am unable to adjust the flame and cannot turn the fire off at all ( I have to turn off the gas at the meter). The battery symbol is flashing even though it’s had a new battery.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have an erroneous battery indicator which led to a weak RF signal.
This was due to a faulty regulator, the regulator was replaced which restored full functionality.
