Customer's Fault Description
Despite new batteries in both the units, the light in the receiver comes on only occasionally and even when it does, it does not turn on the gas fire.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to have an erratic signal being transmitted.
This was due to a faulty ultrasonic transducer in the remote handset, the transducer was replaced which restored full functionality.
No fault was found with the receiver.
