Customer's Fault Description
my remote control no longer works. my metallic blind went down when I forced it by the security button on the transformer. therefore the motor of the metal blind works as well as the transformer. I changed the batteries on the remote control but that did nothing.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely from France and on inspection the battery cover was missing.

On testing using the supplied batteries the remote was confirmed to be dead.  Once the batteries were changed the remote sprang to life.

It is possible that the batteries were drained due to being so tightly packaged whereby the buttons were permanently pressed whilst in its packaging.

No fault could be found on this remote and it may be  that it simply needs "pairing" with the receiver again, this can be seen in the following video -  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFkAROPKDu0
