Gutmann Futura Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Gutmann

Model : Futura

Customers Fault Description : Fan not responding at all It’s always been sluggish since delivery now no response at all with no light when up-down button pressed & only blink occasionally with the speed control button. Batteries have been changed

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Downdraft extractor remote arrived safely and on inspection the facia was detached from the remote itself.

On testing the control was found not to be transmitting a signal.  This was found to be due to a shorted 5.1v Diode.  A replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
