Staircase came down, will not go up.Changed battery and noticed a loose red wire from battery, stuck it down, still only up light responding.

This remote arrived safely and on inspection the button cover was missing (this cannot be replaced as spares are not available)

The battery cable was confirmed to be damaged, a replacement was fitted which restored partial functionality.  The Close button was found to be open circuit.  A someone had fitted incorrect buttons in the past both were replaced with the correct type.  When the buttons were then replaced full functionality was restored.

Please note that we can make a clone of this control when it is with us, this clone will look different but will function with the receiver.  This is an optional extra which is charged at an extra £20, if you wish more details please let us know alternatively you can simply pay for the repair using the button on this page.
