Fujima MFX Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Fujima

Model : MFX

Customers Fault Description : Corrosion on contacts due to old batteries- not sure if this is the only problem, but I think it will be, as they’re hardly used.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

These two remotes arrived safely and on inspection both had signs of battery leakage and both were dead.

On opening the first the corrosion was found to have traversed onto the PCB, the print was reworked and the terminals replaced which restored full functionality.

The second remote sadly has suffered a considerable amount of corrosion on both sides of the print, the battery acid had basically eaten through much of the print and due to the amount of damage a repair is not possible.

This payment on this page is for one repair to the one remote plus postage.
