Customer's Fault Description
The LED light comes on, but it does sync with the actual mover (two clicks on any direction key), as a result the mover is not responding.

It is possible that it is the mover is at fault, but want to eliminate the controller first.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing the remote was transmitting but the forward and reverse buttons were not responding. After talking with the customer it was concluded that this could be the reason it would not "pair" with its receiver .
The issue was caused by badly contaminated buttons contacts (see image). The PCB and button caps were cleared of all contaminants which restored full functionality.
