Customer's Fault Description
Garage door remote Hormann HSE2-868-BS, blue lights on but won't operate the garage door. I have tried to re-program it, but unsuccessful even with a brand new battery.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on adding a battery was found to be transmitting as per normal operation.
A common problem with this kind of controller is the battery used, many people use low powered "cheap" batteries which cause power issues, therefore it is best to fit something like a Duracell CR2032 battery and try to program the remote with the receiver.
Failing that it could be an issue with the receiver itself. This item has been classed as no fault found.
