Customer's Fault Description
Appears connection from spring to battery inside remote us not working. Remote not operating fire.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing with its provided batteries was found to be transmitting on each button as per normal operation.
It was initially thought that the problem was with the heater itself but after retesting just before packaging the remote seemed to show its fault of being dead.
On opening one of the terminals was found to have been detached from the PCB (see image).
This was soldered back into place and then reinforced using hot melt glue which restored solid functionality.
