Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a low resistance across its battery terminals which was draining batteries, it was calculated that the batteries would be drained on average of around 20 - 30 days.

This was found to be due to a capacitor being short circuit.  This capacitor was replaced and then the remote tested over a 1 week period with no drain being recorded.
