Naim Audio Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Naim Audio

Customers Fault Description : LED does not show any signs of emitting IR when using a Mobile Phone Camera to view. Item shows no functionality when used with the equipment. Has worked with the equipment for many years till recently.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to transit a signal on any button press.

This was found to be due to cracked solder joints on the IR LED.  The solder was reworked which restored full functionality.
