The remote has played up intermittently for some time but now it has gone completely dead even with new batteries.I have now removed the batteries for posting

This motor mover controller arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to power on from its double power button press as per normal operation.
The signal is present, the item will turn itself off after a short while if it cannot locate its receiver.
The control was opened to check for defects but no issue could be replicated.
This item has been classed as no fault found.
