Battery checked Handset dropped no red light
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

On opening the oscillator was found to be loose inside the remote, this was re soldered back onto the PCB but the dead issue remained.

The dead issue was caused by a faulty battery cable, the negative terminal was open circuit.  A replacement battery cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
