Maha Brake tester Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Maha Brake tester

Customers Fault Description : remote not working, not worried about screen, as per our phone call please be aware super glue has been used to stick small black round component

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This brake tester remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be totally dead.

On opening the Oscillator was found to have become detached from the PCB, this was refitted and the battery replaced which restored a signal on each button press.  Replacement conductive pads were glued into place under each of the main buttons due to worn contacts.

The battery inserted is only partially charged and the customer is to charge it fully on return.

The customer is to test the control on return (we don't have a receiver to test it with, we can only test the signal is present)

(mobile number provided when booking doesnt work so cant SMS updates)
