Remote Fixer Repair Response
This brake tester remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be totally dead.
On opening the Oscillator was found to have become detached from the PCB, this was refitted and the battery replaced which restored a signal on each button press. Replacement conductive pads were glued into place under each of the main buttons due to worn contacts.
The battery inserted is only partially charged and the customer is to charge it fully on return.
The customer is to test the control on return (we don't have a receiver to test it with, we can only test the signal is present)
(mobile number provided when booking doesnt work so cant SMS updates)
