Customers Fault Description : My wife lost our last controller but I found an older one that appears identical. I have put a new tested battery in and the indicator light works on each button. When mains turned on Control box pips 3 times. Nothing works! Can you help or supply newer remote please?
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting as per normal on each button press.
As this is not the original remote that came with the awning it is highly likely that the remote simply needs "Pairing" with the receiver. Please consult your awnings instructions for pairing instructions. This is something we cannot do remotely as it needs to be in the vicinity of the receiver in order to pair the controller.
A 12v Duracell battery will be included on return, many people mistakenly put a 1.5v battery of the same size in causing low power issues.
