Customer's Fault Description
Most buttons have a delay, power button works but has missing graphite on board due to me being an idiot. Remote always seems to need new batts even when there new in.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have many non responsive buttons.
On opening there was damage to the print as per the customers fault description, this was reworked but the buttons remained non responsive.
The pins of the IC were re-flowed which restored functionality to all buttons. Some buttons were then found to be slightly worn therefore as a precaution replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the most commonly used buttons.
