This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be functioning as per normal operation.

After talking to the customer it might be likely that they were not aware of the turning on procedure.  To turn this remote on you bottom power mutton must be pressed twice in quick succession otherwise it will not power on. 

This item was tested over a couple of hours randomly but no issue could be replicated.
