Remote Fixer Repair Response
This pedestal fan remote arrived safely and on inspection did have damage to the facia (this cannot be cosmetically repaired as spare facias are not available)
On testing the remote was found to be transmitting a signal without any button being pressed.
When opened the off and timer buttons were found to have collapsed and were shorting its contacts causing it to transmit.
All buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
Please note - new batteries must be fitted on return as the fault will have drained batteries
