Customer's Fault Description
The remote does not activate the aircon unit. The buttons do not work and seem to be stuck.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing the display would light up but no button would make a difference.
On opening there was a large amount of corrosion over the PCB (see image), this is from an apparent battery leak.
An attempt was made to rework the print which did get thee remote to power on from its power button but sadly many of the other buttons were still non responsive due to corrosion spots in the print caused by leak corrosion.
Sadly due to the amount of damage a repair is not possible.
