Customer's Fault Description
Remote was working until the battery low warning came om. Replaced the battery and the remote doesn't work. Also the cord intermittently doesn't work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to respond from its twin power button press.
This was due to worn button contacts, replacement conductive pads were glued into place which restored full functionality.
The socket for the umbilical cord was tested with no issues being found (this could be an issue with the cable itself)
