Remote control no longer responds to button presses. Despite 2 sets of new batteries tried.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Electric Fire (Zara) remote part of Pureglow Stanford Fireplace Suite arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

This was due to a fault IR led and oscillator, both were replaced which restored full functionality.
