Customer's Fault Description
Wire contacts inside battery case,broken and corroded at the bottom of the remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote for ceiling fan with lights arrived safely and on testing was dead.
The lower battery terminals did have signs of battery corrosion, when the terminal was removed was found to be in two pieces.
A replacement terminal set was fitted which restored full functionality.
