Customer's Fault Description
i have just purchased a new to me caravan and it has a purple line motor mover attached,
the seller told me he couldn’t get the remote to turn on, i put a brand new battery in and nothing,
their is a screw holding the battery cover on but it’s one i found and i’m not sure it’s not to long
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
The battery cable was fitted with an incorrect type meaning the cover could not be fitted into place.
Also the screws holding the remote together were missing, this was actually due to the fixing holes being broken off.
The dead issue was caused by a faulty LED, this was replaced with a white LED which restored full functionality and the remote now powers on from its double power button press. The battery cable was then replaced so the cover could be closed and then the case glued together.
