Valor Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Valor

Customers Fault Description : Remote will not switch Fire on

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on each button as per normal operation.

The bottom battery terminals do have signs of a battery leak / corrosion, it is possible that this was causing a resistance to the power and the act of removing and replacing the batteries has caused the terminals to be come conductive.

Ideally it would be best to replace the terminals but as this remote seems to be transmitting as per normal this has not been done (if we replace the terminals a repair charge would be imposed).

This item has been classed as no fault found, it could be possible that the issue is with the receiver if the remote was not faulty.
