Rds Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Auto Start button and red safety button stuck on

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting without a button being pressed as if a button was shorted.

This was found to be due to a contaminated ribbon connector to the button array.  The connector was cleared of all contaminants which restored full functionality (see testing video) 

This item was returned UGT and it appears that the glue between the layers of the button array had become partially conductive, this was reworked and returned UGT 13th Sep 2022
