HSL Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Cable on remote frayed buttons not always as responsive as should be
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely from Potton nr Sandy and on inspection the cable was confirmed to be badly damaged and some buttons were "seized".
The cable was replaced with a straight cable (we cannot get the curly kind). Please note that the vinyl facia had been superglued onto this remote prior to arrival with us. This glue had run into the button pads which was causing the buttons to be very unresponsive.
The vinyl had to be ripped off and disposed of. We did fit a soft vinyl cover on (we normally don't do cosmetic repairs but as we had some vinyl we did fit it, see image)
