Customer's Fault Description
The remote has started transmitting by itself. It works fine when I press the buttons but then it transmits when I am not touching it. It seems to open either door a few feet, then it stops, or it closes a few feet then it stops.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely from Somerset and on testing was confirmed to randomly transmit without a button being pressed. At first this was thought to be a contaminated button array but this was not the case. It appears that some contamination was coating a couple of the IC pins. The PCB was given an alcohol bath which removed all contaminants and restored full functionality.
A set of Duracell batteries will be supplied fitted on return.
