Customer's Fault Description
Hi, I have an issue with my Yeoman CL3 gas fire remote. I have replaced the remote and receiver batteries, but the receiver will only detect the signal from the remote if held directly in front of the receiver. The receiver operates the gas fire actuator as normal.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote and receiver arrived safely from Rutland and on testing the remote was found to be dead. This was due toa faulty battery cable, the cable was replaced which restored power but then the signal was found to be very weak. The transducer in the handset was replaced which restored full functionality
No fault was found with the receiver.
