Remote not working correctly - turns fire on without command and won't reduce flame etc

This Thermostatic remote control arrived safely from Devon and on testing was found t o be transmitting without a button being pressed.

This was due to a low resistance across one on the button contacts.  The button was replaced and the PCB cleaned which restored full functionality.

Please note that this item will have drained any battery that was inserted therefore it is important to fit a brand new battery on return (we recommend Duracell)
