Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely from Ilford and on inspection the gromet was missing on the cable (see image), this would make the cable very susceptible to breaks / damage.
Also the button contacts were worn. After talking to the customer it was decided to replace the cable and gromet. This was done with a straight cable (the original cable was already cut back prior to arrival with us meaning we couldn't use the original cable)
Replacement conductive pads were also glued into place under each of the main buttons.
